Our goal is to help all our network member channels grow bigger and achieve success on YouTube, whatever level they start out at.

    Channel Frederator Network is looking for an intern to learn and help assist with the day to day operations of our Talent team, who seek out new channels to bring into the network. As the Talent Operations & Acquisition Intern, you will assist our Talent team in researching and reaching out to new potential network members on YouTube. You will also help the Talent team track their activity using our acquisition software. This position is part time, paid, and reports to the Network Operations Manager.

    The ideal candidate is a focused individual with a strong interest in YouTube, social video/media platforms, and the digital media space. Experience in recruitment or sales (either digital or IRL) is a plus, as you will be reaching out to channels yourself so you should feel comfortable with “cold-emailing”. Familiarity with the creative/nerdy side of YouTube (cosplay, gaming, art, animation, etc.) is also a plus.

    Responsibilities

    • Research potential YouTube talent within the animation, gaming, cartoon reviews, and crafting space.
    • Track and find rising youtube channels, and categories that fit the Frederator brand.
    • Draft email talking points for Talent Managers and reach out to smaller channels via email inviting them to join the network.
    • Assist with the YouTube channel reports and audit creation process.
    • Talent data entry and miscellaneous operational tasks if needed.

    Basic Qualifications

    Frederator is looking for Fall 2019 interns for our Graphic Design department in the New York City office. The position will focus on assisting our in house graphic designer. You’ll be working on projects for Channel Frederator Network, The Leaderboard, and Get in the Robot.

    Responsibilities

    Gathering assets for thumbnails and videos on our media channels;
    Preparing assets by masking out characters and cleaning up images;
    Creating thumbnails from templates designed by Senior Graphic Designer;
    Designing templated and original In-Video graphics;
    Designing on brand and show-related Merchandise.

    Basic Qualifications

    You’re a recent grad or college student currently enrolled in a graphic design program
    You have an online portfolio you can share with us
    Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
    Hard-working, organized, detail-oriented, with good communication skills

You will guide your team in creating audience development and programming strategies on YouTube, Facebook, and other platforms. You will build the role that video plays in the Major Accounts marketing plans.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

    You have relationships across YouTube and the industry. You are experienced with driving streams of revenue and are known as trusted partner to your clients. You are highly motivated, professional, and mature. You have outstanding communication skills, and experience with large account management, digital media, online advertising, and consultative selling.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage a team of social video strategists
    • Manage highest profile/tier YouTube/Facebook channels for Major Accounts
    • Consider data, media buying cycles, market trends, and target demographics to shape client goals
    • Collaborate with dedicated partner teams to manage client services and develop account strategies
    • Implement YouTube, Facebook, and new media digital solutions for Major Account
    • Build and maintain deep-level partnerships with regular face-to-face client visits
    • Collaborate with our division leads to sell into new business and assist with up-selling
    • Stay informed and report developments in the digital media and entertainment space

    • Established record of relationships with large clients and media agencies

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain brand identity for Frederator Digital, channels, and shows.
    • Use data to develop programming plans for a roster of O&O channels.
    • Develop editorial calendars and publishing schedules.
    • Provide content ID and CMS Management for channel roster.
    • Implement video SEO and YouTube best practices.
    • Review performance of titles, tags, descriptions, thumbnails, annotations, and post frequency.
    • Provide notes and approval of show outlines, scripts, roughs, and polish.
