Nextoons: The Nicktoons Film Festival, founded by Fred Seibert in 2004, is an annual televised competition showcasing the best work of independent American and international animation filmmakers. With a mission of providing the work of the world’s animation community with an avenue to thirty million homes, and providing those thirty million homes with wildly diverse, entertaining, and challenging films, Nextoons has already become a premiere event for animation filmmakers and fans. Nextoons: The Nicktoons Film Festival is held every summer on Nicktoons, TV’s place to find the next generation of animation.
